Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a systematic approach to preventing and responding to classroom and school discipline problems. PBIS develops school-wide rules and systems that support staff in teaching and promoting positive and appropriate behavior for all students. PBIS helps create and maintain a safe learning environment where teachers are able to teach and students are able to learn.
