My name is Abigail Schintzler and I am the new School Counselor at Morton! I am so excited to start the school year and work with all of the amazing students that walk through the doors.

About Me!
Education: I attended Christopher Newport University (Go Captains!) in Newport News, VA and earned a BS degree in Psychology with minors in Childhood Studies and Literature. Then, I went to the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) in Columbia, SC where I earned my Ed.S. degree in School Counseling and received a certificate in Play Therapy.
Experience: This is my first year working in Onslow County and first year working as a School Counselor! I am looking forward to working with students and their families to help them become the best version of themselves in school and in the future. I will be doing classroom lessons, small group, and individual meetings with students on a variety of topics and issues, either based on request or what I notice is going on in the school!
Bio: I am originally from New Jersey and North Carolina will be the fourth state I have lived in! I just moved to North Carolina this summer, but I am looking forward to the warm weather and being by the water! When I am not at school, I love to try out new coffee shops and places to eat!
