Education
Undergraduate Education
I am originally from Howell, New Jersey, and I grew up wanting to be an elementary school teacher. I received my undergraduate degree from Kutztown University with a major in Elementary Education and a Minor in Psychology. I taught in Alamance-Burlington School System for four years. My first year I taught first grade and then I taught third grade for three years.
Graduate Education
I then decided to head back to school and get my Master's and Specialist degrees in School Psychology at Appalachian State University! Go Mountaineers!! I completed two years of on-campus training and classes and then completed my internship requirement with Onslow County Schools during the 2018-2019 school year. During the 2019-2020 school year, I have been so grateful to work with Morton Elementary School and White Oak High School again to foster great connections to provide meaningful education and learning for students.
